When you drive an automatic transmission, what do you have to do?
Nothing. No jiggling around with the gears as with a manual car. All you have to do is put the gear in D and drive away. All you have to do is focus on your acceleration and braking. Also and needless to say - directing the car to your destination. The automatic transmission takes care of the rest i.e. ensuring the right gear is selected for the circumstances of the drive. Personally, although Im great with a stick shift and still drive one when I have to, I find that having a car with automatic transmission gives a more stress-free drive.
